January 13, 2026, of Marlton, NJ. Wife of the late Norman Wachs. Mother of Sheryl (Jorge Logan) Wachs, Diane (Drew) Keane, Doug (Bari) Wachs, Richard (Jodi) Wachs, and the late Gary (Ruth Fulton) Wachs. Grandmother of Shawn (Amber) Wachs, Michael (Stephanie) Leite, Brian (Alyssa Torres) Leite, Ryan (Sam) Keane, Danny Keane, Alyssa (Brian) Phillips, Aaron Wachs, Hayden Wachs, Macey Wachs, and Bryce Wachs. Great-grandmother of Amber Wachs, Jeremy Wachs, Braxton Wachs, Carter Leite, and Noah Leite.
Brigitte was an artist, world traveler, and lover of history. She had a difficult early life fleeing the Nazis in Austria and living in the Philippines during the Japanese occupation. But her adult life was filled with much more joy and happiness as she found a lifelong love with her husband, Norman, in a marriage that took just 3 months to start and lasted 69 years. She loved her ever growing family more than anything and was happiest hosting family gatherings.
Contributions in Brigitte's memory may be made to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Doug Wachs (116 West Dominion Dr., Marlton) on Thursday, January 22 beginning at 4pm with a service at 7pm.
