Britt Yvonne Smith, who was affectionately known as “Biscuitface,” was born to Garnet Marie Smith and Johnny Thomas Smith, on August 4, 1970, in Akron, Ohio. She attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Garfield High School. From a young age, Britt brought light to the world, by dancing away problems and always keeping her doors open to family and friends. Looking out for everyone. Britt’s smile, laughter, and joy for dancing kept herself and others uplifted during even the most tough times..
Her pride and joy was embedded in her children and grandchildren
Britt left this world on December 11, 2023, with her children at her bedside. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Marcella “Mama” Fitzgerald and Booker "Daddy" Fitzgerald; her brother, Aaron “Zeek” Smith; The father of her children and longtime friend, James Edward Holley Sr.
Left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are her children, James Holley Jr., Jamella Holley and Ja'Briee Holley. Her Grandchildren, Ja'Mirah Holley, Britt Gordon, Jamiron Holley, Antwone Carson, Jamier Holley, James Holley III, & Brielle Holley; those who will forever love and cherish her memory will also include her siblings, Shawntae Ingol, Derrick Smith, Nicole Lehman, Danni Bennett, Keith Smith, Kyra Smith, Jerald Powell, Jasmine Douglas, and Gabriella Evans, Marie Mitchell; Aunts and Uncles who she grew up with; Booker Fitzgerald III, Gary Fitzgerald, Kelly Shelton, and Leslie Fitzgerald. And a very large host of many many other cousins, nieces, nephews, aunt's, uncle's, friends and loved ones..
