Brittany Ann Nelson

1985 – 2025

Brittany Ann Nelson, 40, was born on May 21, 1985, in Ogden, Utah, to John and Sherry Barker. She passed away peacefully in her home on August 17, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband, Manley Nelson; her four children, Aubri Barker, Jenisy Nelson, Sienna Barker, and Zayden Nelson; and her grandson, Caelin Nelson. She is also survived by her parents, John and Sheri Barker; siblings, Brady Barker, Brinde Webster (Marty), Marissa Payne (Mikey), and Kyle Barker; her grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Brittany also leaves behind her two beloved dogs.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cook and Gibbs; her mother-in-law, Cheryl Grant; her uncle, Gary Taylor; her aunt, Terrylee Fahina; and her uncle, Jack Anderson.

Brittany was a devoted stay-at-home mom who cherished every moment with her family. She loved preparing home-cooked meals, doing her nails, drawing, swimming at Pineview Reservoir, reading, and watching Marvel movies with her son. Later in life, she pursued further education and earned a certificate in Level 2 Non-Destructive Testing from OTech.

Brittany will be kept alive in spirit through all the memories her family holds dear. She was loved and we hope that she's spending her time in the afterlife with her loved ones, a caramel frappe, and a good book.

A viewing will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025, between 6 and 8 PM at the Ogden Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.
