When peace like a river attended our way, When sorrows like sea billows roll. Whatever my lot, thou has taught us to say, It is well, it is well, with our soul.
Brittany Latriece Allen was a devoted wife, loving mother, a beloved daughter, a beautiful and nurturing sister, an amazing aunt, a caring granddaughter, a sweet niece, the favorite cousin, and the kindest friend.
The beautiful and sweet life of Brittany Latriece Allen was born into time on Wednesday, September 28, 1994, in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the union of Robert Sr. and Tosha Reed.
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. Brittany was born into the Christian lineage of her parents and grandparents under the leadership of Elder Joique Bell, and under the pastoral guidance of the late Elder Nathaniel Wells III at Greater Community Church of God In Christ. Brittany continued her Christian journey with Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Kalamazoo, MI under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Addis Moore, where she faithfully allowed God to use her gift of singing. She extended her musical gift to many other church ministries whenever needed.
Brittany's love and passion for music lead her to actively engage in many theatrical performances. She's held many leading roles in several stage plays.
In 2012, she graduated from the Benton Harbor High School as a proud member of the Illustrious Benton Harbor High School "Class of 2012". In 2012, Brittany reigned as a proud member of the 2012 Miss Benton Harbor Court of Honor.
Brittany began her secondary education career at Lake Michigan College, Henry Ford College-Detroit and received her associate degree in Psychology from Kalamazoo Valley Community College on December 19, 2021.

The love and special bond that she had for her first cousins "The Lucky Seven" was unbreakable and everlasting. Brittany, our sweet baby girl, you will truly be missed. At an early age, when asked by her mother, "What do you want to be in life?" Brittany's reply was always, "I want to be a wife and a mother". On Saturday, August 27, 2022, God blessed Brittany to united in Holy matrimony to her dream husband, Calvin Allen. On September 9, 2024, this union was blessed with a handsome bundle of joy Drew Allen.
