Broadus Hogan Obituary
Broadus Roger Hogan, 84, of Spartanburg passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. Born July 14, 1940, in Forest City, NC, he was the son of the late Thomas Eugene Hogan Sr. and Hazel Cash Hogan.
He was a retired Purchasing Coordinator and Inventory Control Specialist at Mayfair Mills. He proudly served in the National Guard. A devoted church member and Deacon at Eastside Baptist Church in Spartanburg. Known by everyone as a selfless and humble servant, Buddy, (or "Buck" to some), was a true family man.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of over 65 years, Mary Patsy "Pat" Hogan; sons, Dennis (Tammy) Hogan and Kenny (Shelley) Hogan; grandchildren, Tucker Hogan, Elijah Hogan, London Hogan, Tandy Finley Green, Richard Genobles; great grandchild, Addison Green; Brother, Thomas "Junior" Hogan (Cindy); nephew, Hunter Hogan.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024, at the Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Highway 9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
Funeral service will be 12:30 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel followed by a graveside service in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, services will be conducted by Rev. Daniel Kuhr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Eastside Baptist Church, c/o Building Fund, 1850 Fernwood Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307
