Brody Wade Miller

Brody Wade Miller was granted his angel wings on April 16, 2022, following a lifelong illness. He brought such an innocent view of life and defied the odds against him for over five love-filled years. Brody was born to Brad and Brooke Miller on January 12, 2017, and while his life would seem too short to many, those that were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His smile and sounds of happiness ensured his voice and thoughts could always be heard. He brought a new normal to his family and they loved him hard. The things he couldn't do here on earth, are now possible in his new forever home; running, talking, playing, and so much more. Brody's life acts as a reminder that life is to be celebrated and not one moment taken for granted. Brody is survived by his father, Brad; his momma, Brooke; his siblings, Braxeton and Braelynn; his grandparents, Jennifer White, Wade Miller, Vicki and Reed Hanna, Troy White, Sr. and his "road dog" Tommy Edwards.; his great-grandparents, Ramona Powell, Kay Fiskin, and Maurice Miller; his aunts, uncles, and cousins, Troy White, Jr., Nicole White, Kevin Rich and Langdon Rich, Jason, Amy, Lily, Lincoln, and Olivia Roddy, Heidi, Chase and Gage Wilburn, Brian Gretchen, Willie, Waylon, Wyatt and Enzo Cannon, Barry, Vanessa Wiles Alayna, Ella and Mikayla. Travis, Leslie Hanna Alison, Brylie, and Lane; and many great aunts, great uncles, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Harland Powell, Doris White, Horace White, Larry Fiskin, Joann Wallace, Imogene, and Aunt Heather Dowell. Also left behind are many caregivers that provided love and support to Brody and his family, therapists, doctors, nurses, and school staff. While each of them may have only spent a small time with Brody, they made an impact that assisted in enhancing his life by providing him love, care, and dignity. To join us in celebrating Brody's life: Visitation service will be held Thursday, April 21st from 5-8 PM at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, Texas. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 22nd at 2:00 PM at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, Texas with graveside to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
