Brooke Reed, aged 44, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado on June 30, 2023. She was born on February 5, 1979 to her parents, Allen and Janeen Grove. Brooke graduated from Highlands Ranch high school and Northwest College.
She married Randall “Randee” Reed, the love of her life, twenty-one years ago. Brooke and Randy shared a passion for The West, country music, the Denver Broncos and their two sons, Tanner, and Blake.
She completed her Associates degree in nursing at in 2001. Brooke started her twenty-year nursing career at Rose hospital and finished her career at Women’s Health at Littleton where she was the lead nurse. Brooke was greatly loved by her colleagues and patients. She will be remembered for her “nursing intuition” where she always knew the right thing to do at any given time, and for her “great catches”. Her patients loved her so much, they often would call and ask, “only to talk to Brooke” and they enjoyed saying hello to her during their yearly visits after their pregnancies. Brooke’s colleagues called her “Brookey”.
Brooke’s greatest love and passion in her life was being the mom of her boys, Tanner (15) and Blake (12). She loved sharing stories about her boys and proudly showed pictures of them wherever she went, particularly related to their activities, football, camps, homecoming and even girlfriends. Brooke’s life was centered around her love for her boys this was evident in everything she did.
Having a true lust for life, motherhood and the Denver Broncos, Brooke was constantly busy. She had an infectious laugh that could spread and fill a room. She enjoyed dancing at Country Music concerts and watching all the Denver teams. Most of all, she loved watching her kids participate in athletics.
Brooke will be dearly missed by all who knew her and her zest for life, her sassy demeanor and infectious laugh.
She is survived by her husband, Randall Reed; her sons Tanner and Blake; sister and brother in law, Cheri and Greg Evans; mother and father, Janeen and Allen Grove; nephew Dan Evans, with wife Moriah Evans, and their children Presley and Jessie Evans; brothers, Scott and Shayne Grove, with their children, Dakota and Cassidy Grove; father in law and step mother in law, Chris and Clara Reed; mother in law and step father in law, Dawn and Kent Brittle; Sister in law, Heather Brittle.

We called each other sisters from different misters. We worked as aides together at Rose before getting out nursing licenses. She was my roommate, best friend, road trip partner, and now my angel. I miss you and your laugh already. Rest well my dear friend.

I had the pleasure of working with Brooke at Spring Valley Hospital, in Las Vegas. She was a top notch L&D nurse and freely shared her knowledge with humor, professionalism and grace. Many of the techniques I use today, were taught to me, by Brooke. Rest in Peace, my friend...and "thank you."

I wanted to share my deepest condolences with her family. I was so sad to hear about Brooke´s passing, she will be greatly missed. We were great friends in college. She was such a kind, daring and wonderful friend. I have so many wonderful memories with Brooke. She had such a beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She taught me how to snowboard, and to this day when I go snowboarding I think of her. She inspired me to be find my courage in many situations. I admired her greatly for many things but most of all her passion, drive and genuine kindness. She had such a warm and loving heart. She was a truly beautiful and remarkable person. Though we kinda lost touch over the years I think of the memories we shared fondly. She will be deeply missed. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.
