Bruce C. Beppler

Bruce C. Beppler, 75, of Washington, Chartiers Township, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Paramount Senior Living, Peters Township. He was born July 30, 1950, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late George and Shirley Huber Beppler. Raised in Canonsburg, Bruce was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School Class of 1969. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America and was a Teamster. Prior to his retirement Bruce had been employed as a heavy equipment operator at the former Washington Steel Corporation. Bruce devotedly attended St. Hilary Church and was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast riding all over Pennsylvania and Florida, where he lived for 13 years with his companion of 25 years, Carol McClosky, who survives. Bruce leaves behind his dog, Bitsy, a Biewer. On June 6, 1969, he married Cathy Mae Chappo, who passed away August 28, 1993. Left behind to cherish his memory, in addition to his love, Carol, are his two beloved daughters, Melissa (Jonathan) Babicka of Miami Beach, Fla., and Michele Beppler of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Layla and Prentice Babicka; his brother, Keith Beppler, and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to his wife and parents, are his sister, Patti Lu Beppler; and brother, David Beppler.
