Bruce Warren Cartwright Jr.

Bruce Warren Cartwright Jr., born in 1939 in Ohio, passed away on January 13, 2025. He spent his formative years in Glendora, California, where he met his beloved wife, Mary. Together, they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Bruce is survived by Mary, their three daughters: Michelle (Shelley) Webster and her husband Scott, Katherine Jones, and Megan Bonnin and her husband Zach. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Timothy Jones, Kara Gilmore, Nathan Jones, Sawyer Bonnin, Fisher Bonnin, and Macy Bonnin, and his sister, Diana Robertson.
A graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in history, Bruce proudly served in the Air Force. He thrived in the elevator business for over 50 years as a respected salesman, known for his expertise and dedication. His faith was central to his life; he served as an elder at his church and was always ready to lend a hand.
In 1979, Bruce and his family relocated to Arizona, where he embraced new adventures, including backpacking and snow skiing. His passion for travel was evident in his love for planning trips, especially those featuring his fondness for Italian culture and wine. Bruce's warm spirit and infectious smile touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at Chaparral Christian Church, located at 6451 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254, on Saturday, February 8, at 1:30 PM.
