Dr Bruce Edward Clark

Bruce Edward Clark was born in Ridgecrest, California to Robert and Bette Clark on December 18, 1948. He passed away suddenly on Friday January 17th, 2025. His father was an engineer at the China Lake Navy Base in Ridgecrest and his mother worked on the base doing clerical work for many years. Bruce grew up with an older brother and sister, Stephen and Merilyn.
Bruce graduated from Sherman E. Burroughs High School in 1967 and went on to UCLA and transferred to UCSF where he graduated from pharmacy school in 1975.
Bruce loved pharmacy, and worked in many pharmacies in the bay area, San Joaquin Valley and most recently in Coarsegold. He took great pride in sharing his knowledge in consultations with patients and providing extra services like compounding prescriptions and giving vaccinations.
Bruce met Karoline when they both worked at Medical Dental Pharmacy, a small pharmacy across from the old Valley Children's Hospital. Bruce and Karoline were married on September 30, 1989. They traveled to many wonderful places - Tahiti, Hawaii, Mexico, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Oregon, Washington, San Antonio and many more.
Bruce and Karoline were blessed to have a beautiful baby girl, Ruth, come into their lives in 2004. The family shared many happy times going to Ruth's school, soccer, softball, dance and robotics activities as she grew up. Always special were the times spent camping in the Sierras, going to the coast and spending time at the family cabin in Mammoth Lakes skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking and just relaxing.
Bruce loved old time Rock 'n' Roll! Bruce loved fixing things, aerospace and auto hobbies! Bruce loved his pets! Bruce loved jelly beans!
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bette Clark. Bruce leaves behind his wife Karoline and their daughter Ruth. His brother Stephen and sister Merilyn and their families.
No public service is scheduled.
