Obituary of Bruce G. Conover

Rochester - Bruce G. Conover passed away on September 13, 2025 at the age of 77. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Sheila Conover; his children, Scott Conover and Dawn (Aldon) Froelick; his grandchildren, Logan White, Dahlia Froelick, and Violet Froelick; his sisters, Barbara Phillips and Judy Loverde; and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Bertrand Conover and Virginia (Robert) Quick; his sister and brother-in-law, Joyce (Bill) Lemmon; and his brother, Edward Conover.

Bruce was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving honorably during the Vietnam War. He carried the values of service and dedication throughout his life.

After his military service, Bruce worked as a punch press operator for Eastman Kodak, where he was known for his hard work and attention to detail. Outside of work, Bruce was a true jokester, never missing a chance to make those around him laugh. His storytelling, full of wit and charm, captivated all who were lucky enough to hear his tales.

Bruce had a love for adventure in his younger days, with a passion for traveling to new places. He also found solace in nature, enjoying fishing and spending time outdoors, always appreciating the simple beauty of the world around him.

Above all, Bruce cherished his family. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His humor, warmth, and spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

He will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
