Obituary of Raymond L. Olszewski

Hilton - Raymond L. Olszewski "Ray" passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Valeria Olszewski; and his sister, Frances Olszewski. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Susan Olszewski; his daughters, Catherine (David) Sullivan, Jennifer (Richard) Redding, and Maureen Olszewski; and his granddaughters, Maureen Elizabeth and Meredith.

Ray earned his MBA from the University of Buffalo, furthering his passion for knowledge and innovation. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company, where he worked as an Electrical Engineer and later retired as Business Manager at St. Theodore's Church in Gates. He was a devoted husband and father and a man of deep faith. He was a devout member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and proudly served as a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He had a natural talent for fixing and building things, always finding joy in tinkering, whether it was working on cars or projects around the house. He also had a love for photography, and enjoyed capturing moments behind the lens and then developing his own photos-a true craftsman at heart. Ray was deeply loved and will not be forgotten.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 110 Old Hojack Lane, Hilton, New York 14468, where Ray's Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Whitestown, NY.
