Bruce proudly served his country as a Naval Seaman under the 9th Naval District in the U.S. Navy. He said "I do" to Margaret Downey on July 14, 1956 at First Baptist Church of Royal Oak. Bruce made his career as a glazer and owner of Howie Glass.
Beloved husband of Margaret, joined in love for 66 years. Loving father of Steve (Margie) of Corning, NY; Shelly Adams of Clawson, MI; and Dennis (Shawn) of Bruce Twp., MI. Cherished grandfather of eight. Treasured great-grandfather of seven. Dear brother of the late Dennis and the late Maureen Wassom.
A visitation for Bruce will be held on Friday, September 30, from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (4 blks. E. of Woodward), Royal Oak, 48067.
