Bruce Granat Obituary
He was born on July 21, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Jeremiah and Nettie (Small) Granat. He earned his masters degrees from Roosevelt University-Chicago and t then later in 1979 from the University of Chicago. He was employed at Exchange National Bank and the Chicago Bank of Commerce in Chicago, and later owned his own business, Town & Country Products in Lake Linden from 1988 until 1998.
On January 7, 1983 he was married to Maureen (Lynch) Granat.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Maureen; children Deborah (Granat) Moreno and Rebecca Granat; sister Blyce Taylor; nephews Keane and Daniel Taylor; cousin Marla Hall; stepdaughters Donna Baranowski, Diane Cullen, Kerri DiMonte, Sandra Kellner, and Charlotte Clark; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and "Bonnie Sue" his beloved dog.
Private burial will be held in the Chassell Cemetery. The O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home of Hancock is assisting with the arrangements. To leave online condolences, please go to www.oneilldennisfh.com.
