West Brookfield – Bruce W. Holden, 69, of West Brookfield passed away at home on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
He leaves behind his step-daughter, Annette Rudolph and her husband, Rick, of Holland, MA; his step-son, Steven Bucinskas and his wife, Cindy, of Auburn; his step-son, David Halley and his wife, Laurie, of West Brookfield; his grandchildren, Justin, Dan, Kate, Tara, Nicole, Asa, Todd, and Nicole; as well as his nephew, Benjamin Holden; his niece, Jacqueline R. Fitzpatrick; and his niece, Katherine M. Gustavsson. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra M. Holden in 2021; and by his sisters, Heather M. Holden, and Holly A. Eklund. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Walter R. and Louise M. (Kennedy) Holden.
Bruce was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan, and he could often be seen wearing his Red Sox and Patriots memorabilia. He was a lover of drag racing and old muscle cars, especially his 1970 Nova, and would frequent many car shows. He loved the company of his cat, Sarah, until her passing after many years of companionship.
A Graveside Service for Bruce will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 11:00AM in Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton, MA 01612. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, PO Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
