Bruce Knott Obituary
Bruce was born on September 16, 1948 to Pete and Evylon Knott in Grand Rapids, MI. The family relocated to Florida, finally settling in Boca Raton where Bruce graduated from Boca Raton High School in 1966. After graduation, he joined the Air Force and later built his career working for the government in the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
In 1977 Bruce married his wife Kathy in Anchorage, AK and together they raised their children Lisa (Brian) Ehrlich, Ryan (Eowyn) McAlhaney, and Adam Knott. Over the years, they were blessed with 6 grandchildren Hunter, Ethan, Connor, Aidan, Lee, and Madison.
After traveling around the country for work, Bruce moved back to Florida for his well-earned retirement in 2003 and made Melbourne their home. He enjoyed the beaches and golf and traveling in their RV. All of his children also relocated to Florida, and it was his great pleasure to spend time with them here.
Bruce will be placed to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. He was predeceased by his parents, his siblings Beverly (Dick) Shevlen, Pete, and Pam, and is survived by his brother Paul (Carrie).
Bruce was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
