Bruce King Lutz

Bruce King Lutz age 80 passed away from Covid-pneumonia on November 16, 2023 in Layton, Utah. He was born March 19, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to Raymond and Vivian Kingsford Lutz.

He received his GED in the Navy and attended some college classes at Weber State University.

Bruce served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam war.

Bruce married Janice Nye Bouy on July 12, 1968 in Huntsville, Utah. She and her three children came as a package deal. Their marriage was solemnized in the Temple in 1978. Their children were sealed to them at that time.

He was a long haul truck driver for over forty years, retiring in 2012. He always worked very hard to support his family, whom he loved very much. He went to work delivering auto parts after his retirement.

Bruce is survived by his wife Janice and their children: Vicky Bouy, Michael Bouy (Elena), Wayne Lutz, Kelly Lutz(Candace), Paul Lutz (Natalie) and Stacie Rodgers. He is also survived by his siblings: Janice Woolington, Susan Orton(Rodger), Robert Lutz and Steven Lutz.  Also survived by twenty grandchildren and four great grandchildren with one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Lutz, daughter Jennifer Bouy and two grandsons, Taylor and Parker Rodgers.

Private family viewing and graveside service will be held.
