Bruno Irmer was born on January 9th, 1962, in Carson City NV. Current Bladen resident, he passed away at Mary Lanning Hospital Friday, March 28, 2025. Apfel Funeral Home is assisting the family.

He was a dedicated father, son, brother and grandfather as well as friend. He relocated to Bladen with his 2 youngest daughters once he retired from his gold mining career in Nevada in 2008. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved to take his family fishing and have cook outs. His grandchildren were his pride and joys and always bragged about them whenever he could.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Lepper; his father, Alfred Irmer; both paternal and maternal grandparents; grandson, Benjamin Shallenberger; niece, Sabrina Elder; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bruno is survived by his three daughters: Joelene Shallenberger (Matt Shallenberger), Charisse Jaide, Summer hoard (Bradley hoard); two stepchildren: James Waldo (Chantel Waldo) and Jennifer Jentzsch (Bryce Jentzsch); partner, Christine Shepherd; sister, Alicia Elder; two nephews: James Elder and Vincent Moretti; and 13 grandchildren. 

Per Bruno’s request there will be no services. The family will have a celebration of life at the Webster County Fairgrounds in Bladen on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Online condolences can be sent to www.apfelfuneralhome.com.
