Virginia Costanza Irmer
Born 12/21/1927 in Rochester, New York, Virginia passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2023, 6 months after the passing of her beloved husband Adolf.
Virginia is also predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Rose Costanza, brothers and sisters Angelo, Carmella (Barr), Joseph and Roseann, brother in law John Barr, sisters in laws Mary Costanza and Maria Costanza and niece Linda Shepard. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Nick, Andrew (Colleen) and Jim (Andrea) Costanza, Larraine (Barr) Loverde, John (Lynette) Barravechia, Joe (Debby) and Bob (Laura) Barr, and Jennifer Costanza, many great nieces and nephews and several great, great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her good friends who cared for her, kept her company and made her life a little brighter - Hanna and Werner Nowak, Barbara Patzig, Linda Hopkins, and Sweety.
Virginia, or Ginny to her friends, worked at Stromberg Carlson for many years. She enjoyed skiing and tennis and made many friends during her long lifetime. She closely followed the stock market and was a lifelong learner - always reading and following the news of the day. She had a special bond with Heritage Christian Home where her sister lived.
At her request, there will be no calling hours. A funeral mass will be held at the Linehan Chapel - Nazareth College 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618, on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 10:00 am
