Funeral services for Bryan Frank Holland, 41, of Greenville, Mississippi will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Hollandale Methodist Church. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Hollandale Cemetery. He passed away Friday, June 6, 2025.
Born on October 9, 1983, to Lane and Patsy Holland, Bryan was a valued member of the agriculture community as an ag pilot. He grew up in Hollandale, MS and was a 2002 graduate of Deer Creek School in Arcola,
Bryan was a dedicated husband and father who loved spending time with his family, working in the yard, and playing with his girls, Landry and Analee. He was often seen outside teaching them to play ball, ride a bike, and take care of animals. Bryan loved to build things and would figure out how to complete any project he and his wife, Ashley, decided to do.
Away from his career as an ag pilot, Bryan could often be found on the softball or soccer fields where he volunteered his time as a coach to young athletes. He loved encouraging his team members to not only play the game but to love being part of a team and working together. He was a positive role model and influence on his players and their parents. Bryan was a friend to many who were grateful for his dedication and loyalty.
Bryan's love of sports began as a child and continued through his college years. He was a member of the 2002 state championship baseball team at Deer Creek School where he was an award winning pitcher. His baseball career continued at Mississippi Delta Community College where he played for two years before walking on at Mississippi State under the mentorship and guidance of Coach Ron Polk. It was during his time at Mississippi State when Bryan made the decision to pursue his love of flying. He enrolled in the Flying Tigers Flight School in Louisiana where his dream of working in the crop dusting industry would become reality. At the time of his death, Bryan was working as an ag pilot for Farm Brothers Flying Service in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Holland; and his grandparents, David and Thelma Holland, Virginia Pinion, and Frank Harrison. He leaves behind to cherish his love and memory his wife, Ashley Oswalt Holland; two daughters, Landry Holland and Analee Holland; father, Lane Holland; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Patti Oswalt; brother-in-law, Jason Oswalt and wife, Morgan; nephew, JD Oswalt and niece, Paizly Oswalt.
