Bryan Keith Hooper, age 65, departed this life on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at University Medical Center He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Bryan attended John Ehret High School and had a passion for cooking and celebrating. He was a faithful member of St. Rock Baptist Church. Bryan will be remembered for his love of caring for others. Beloved son of the late Harold Hooper, Sr. and Dorothy Costly Batiste. Grandson of the late Benny Costly, Sr., Isabel Costly, Sandy Hooper and Silica Edwards. Loving brother of Harold Hooper, Jr., Earal (Judy) Hooper, Barbara Wiliams, Causandra Phillips, Gayle Bartholomew, Tira Jones, and the late Sylvia Hooper, Debra Hooper, and Kenneth Batiste. Nephew of the late Doris Hooper Pitts. Devoted godfather of Shawanda Hooper Walker and Michael Hooper. Dear friend of the late Kim Jackson. Bryan is also survived by 11 nieces, 8 nephews, and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Rock Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of West Jefferson Medical Center are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Leonard Franklin, Sr., officiating.
