SHARRON DAVIS

Sharron Davis was called home on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the age of 72. She was native of Sorrento, LA and a resident of Kenner. Sharron was educated in the Ascension Parish School System. “Mable” as she was affectionally known by family and friends, was a chef with Messina’s Restaurant for over 40 years. Sharron was a member of Community Baptist church in River Ridge, LA. Her passion was studying God’s Word, listening to gospel, cooking, and feeding the many people she cared for. Beloved mother of Davele (Kayla) Davis, Shawanda (Van) Custard, and Shelita (Kevin) Davis. Bonus mother of Charlotte (Darryl) Martin, Tara Watson, and Geryal Davis. Grandmother of Dion Custard, Terrance Davis, Daja Custard, Davele Davis, Jr., and Lamonte Davis. Great grandmother of Kingston Adams, Dion Custard, Deliyah Davis, and Devontae Custard. Daughter of the late Johnny Gable and Annie B. Williams. Granddaughter of the late Felton “Doc” Williams, Millie Carrol, and Harriet Williams. Sister of Leon Williams, Edwin (Antonia) Thomas, Susan Morrison, Erica Thomas, and the late Joseph Williams, Alton Williams, Robert James Williams, John “Hot Rod” Williams, Christopher Williams, and Penny Gable. Niece of Larry Williams. Former wife of the late Geryal Davis, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friend of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Do Right Full Gospel Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Do Right Full Gospel Baptist Church 8141 LA -44 Gonzales, LA on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Do Right Full Gospel Baptist Church Cemetery- Gonzales, LA.
