CLARA WEBB KNAPPER

Clara Mae Webb-Knapper, age 90, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Clara will be remembered for her loving spirit, home-cooked meals, cakes made from scratch, and infectious humor that warmed everyone around her. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Joseph Knapper, Sr. Loving mother of Audrey (Brian, Sr.) Gray, Joseph (Valerie) Knapper, Jr., Joyce Knapper, Joan (Carl, Sr.) Jackson, Gary Knapper, and Corey (Deborah) Knapper and the late Private Milton Knapper. Daughter of the late Charlie Webb and Janie Tinson-Webb. Sister of Martha Webb-Washington, Willie, Leslie, and Shone Webb, and the late Charles, Jerry, David, Terry, Aaron, Florida, Louise, and Carrie Webb, and Rebecca Tinson-McCrainey. Clara is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friend of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 1419 4th St, Westwego, LA on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10:00 am.
