It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bryan P. Kenner, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on July 13, 2025, at the age of 60.
He was the husband of Yvette (Ives) Kenner.
Born and raised in Providence, he was the son of the late Richard and Jacqueline (Silva) Kenner. A lifelong resident of Rhode Island, Bryan spent the majority of his life living in Providence, up until the last twelve years of his life where he resided in Cranston, creating a warm and loving home filled with laughter and joy, embracing every moment with his family.
Bryan was a man of many passions. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was casting a line into the tranquil waters while fishing, or gathering around the campfire with family and friends during camping trips. His adventurous spirit led him to explore the thrill of gambling, with fond memories of his time spent at Twin River and Foxwoods Casino, where he often shared laughter and stories with loved ones. Above all, he cherished time with his family.
A true animal lover, Bryan had a special bond with his dog, Gucci, who brought him endless joy and companionship. His love for animals extended beyond his own pet, as he had a kind heart for all creatures great and small.
Traveling was another passion of Bryan's, particularly enjoying cruises with his beloved wife Yvette. Together, they created cherished memories exploring new destinations and experiencing the world hand in hand. Music was the soundtrack of his life, and he found solace and happiness in melodies that resonated with his soul.
Bryan is survived by his wife Yvette, his daughter; Aishia Matthews, his stepsons; Mark (Natasha) Ives, William (Jessica) Ives, and his grandchildren; Tatiana, Amari, Richard, Tyler, Junelynn, William Jr., Fayth.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Fayweather.
Services for Bryan will be private.
As we say goodbye to Bryan, we remember a man who lived life to the fullest, embraced every moment, and touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, a zest for life and devotion to family, that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
