Bryan Duane King, 62, of Anderson, left this life on September 7, 2025 in Anderson, IN. He was born on July 9, 1963, in Anderson, the son of Boyd King and Patricia (Crull) Benefiel. Brian graduated from Anderson Highland High School in 1981, and then began his working life, having served several businesses, most recently, Adessa Corp. of Indianapolis, reclaiming automobiles to be resold after needed repairs made. He retired in approximately 2020 due to health reasons. He enjoyed bowling and bowled on the Men's City League at Cooper's Bowling Alley, fishing with his buddies and family members, and racing stock cars at the Anderson Speedway. Bryan was a member of the American Legion Post Auxiliary of Pendleton. Bryan is survived by his mother and step father, Patricia A.(Crull) Benefiel and Carl Benefiel; granddaughter, Krystyna "Alex" Daylynn King; brothers, Tim King and Larry Ferguson; sisters, Beth Lord , Wendy Wells and Nina Baker; his close circle of friends, T. R. Rouse, Jeff Curry, Bob Boots, Randy Chaudion, and John (Beth) Mollett; cousins, Cody (Kristin) King, Pricilla Crull and family, and Rachel and family; aunt, Dorothy Crull; special nephew, Steven Lord, several other nieces and nephews, special Cousins, Linda and Wayne Patten; and very special Friend, Pat Branham. He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd King; brother, Randy Ferguson; and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Whiteman officiating. Cremation to follow after services. Friends may call at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory on Sunday 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m.until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Online condolences may be made to the family in care of www.loosecares.com.
