Bryce Marcus Elzey was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 4, 2005. He passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2026 in St George, Utah, at the age of 20.
He was adopted at birth and was nothing short of a true blessing and light in his family's life. 20 years was not long enough. He is missed more than words can express.
Bryce was a man full of love and support. He never once hesitated to help those in need, especially his siblings and his mom. He was a selfless brother, friend, and son - someone many of his siblings would refer to as their pillar and their rock. He always had a smile on his face and never had a mean word to say.
Bryce’s siblings want to thank him for a lifetime of great, happy memories. He was a wonderful example of love and service and an exemplary role model of the kind of big brother and person they hope to be. They miss you and will never forget your Taki’s, Pineapple Fanta, Mountain Dew, Hot Cheetos and your signature Ramen noodles. They will miss the daily conversations, texts, calls, and laughter more than anything. They look forward to the day they are with you again.
Bryce was his mom’s “third arm” and he was proud and happy to be so. She is deeply proud of the man he had grown into. Despite facing health challenges associated with sickle cell anemia- especially over the last few years- Bryce, like a true champion, rose to every challenge and overcame each one with determination and resilience.
He is survived by his mother, Lisa Elzey; numerous adoring brothers and sisters; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by four younger siblings and his grandparents. His passing has left an emptiness in our hearts and our home that can never be replaced.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the LDS church, 630 Riesling Ave, Santa Clara, UT 84765, A viewing will be held prior to services from 12:00-12:45pm. Interment will take place at the Tonaquint Cemetery,1777 S Dixie Dr, St. George, UT 84770
