Age 64 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Bryon was born on May 28, 1961 to the late Gary M. Palmer and Colleen A. McNeil Palmer. He is also predeceased by several beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and his four legged companion, Harley.

Bryon is survived by his three children, Samantha Morley, Bryon M. Palmer II, and Andrew G. Palmer; his significant other of 17 years, Laurie Potter and her children Brad Potter (Sarah Stephens) and Brian (Ana) Hugg and granddaughter Elizabeth Hugg; Laurie's mother and father, Joe and Margaret Potter and Laurie's brother, Joe Potter Jr. (Linda LaRue-Gregory); mother Colleen McNeil Palmer; siblings Barbara J. (John) Koehn and Bret A. (Maria) Palmer; niece and nephew, Bradley A. (Jessica) Palmer and Talisa K. Palmer and her son Brycen; aunt Dianne Palmer; uncle Edwin (Red) Lewis along with many cousins, extended family members and friends. He is also survived by his four legged companion, Manny.

Bryon was born in Montour Falls and attended Odessa-Montour Schools and played baseball and basketball, and also played trombone in the school band. He graduated from Horseheads High School in 1979 and worked as a radio DJ for WQIX and tended bar at Rosar's, Hickory House and Casa Blanca in Horseheads. He later went into his broadcasting sales career and worked at many local broadcasting stations, most recently at WETM-18. He was a die-hard New York Yankees and Mets fan (mostly Yankees), he loved his many pets over the years and will always be known for his wicked sense of humor.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Arnot Ogden ICU, and a very special thanks to Lindsay Monroe for her compassionate care of Bryon while he was at home.

The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 4-7PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 7PM. Bryon will be laid to rest at Scotchtown Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
