Passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 78. She was born on January 26, 1948 in Elmira, New York to the late Leland King and Pauline Quinn King. She is predeceased by her son, Peter T. Lepkowski, uncle Donald Quinn, and her aunt Helen Masterson.

Diane grew up in Elmira, New York and graduated from Southside High School in 1967. She met her future husband, Bill in 1967 at the County Fair and were later married in 1969. The couple moved down state for a few years before moving back to Breesport, where they lived for 50 years. Diane loved to sew, and ran her own sewing business for a short time called Nip and Tuck Alterations, repairing all kinds of clothes and fabrics. She also made hundreds of Raggedy Ann Dolls. She later got a job at Toshiba in Horseheads. An avid lover of animals, both big and small, she loved her many dogs and cats over years, and rescued many injured animals as well.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, William "Bill" Lepkowski of Breesport, NY; children, Michael (Emily) Lepkowski of Lowman, NY and Sara Lepkowski of Elmira Heights, NY; granddaughter, Alissa (TJ) Carpenter of Rome, PA; great-grandson Cole Carpenter; aunt, Jean Quinn and cousin David Quinn; her special friend, Christine "Chris" Aikman as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin Street, at Route 13, Horseheads, NY, 14845 for calling hours on Thursday, March 19th from 4-6pm. She will be laid to rest privately at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Diane's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Elcor for the excellent care they gave her.
