Bryson Howell Obituary
He was born in Madison County, Kentucky on February 10, 1934, the son of the late Harry B. & Mary Elizabeth Stewart Howell. Mr. Howell owned and operated Howells Body Shop for over 50 years and was a very talented mechanic. It was said that you could bring him a tire, and he would fix you a car. When he wasn't working, being with family was his favorite pastime – there is no telling how many ball games and cheer competitions he has attended for grandchildren, and he loved every moment. Mr. Howell was a member of the Ashland Church.
Survivors include: his wife of almost 68 years, Loretta Eversole Howell; his children, Mary Pruitt (Glenn), Donald Bryson Howell (Jeanna), and Dale Howell; his grandchildren, Ty Babb( Christy), Sarah Daniel (Keith), Teren Schooler (Richard), Noah Howell (Shawna), Karie Carver (Joe), Morgan Still (Josh), Shelby Lee (Robert), and Christopher Howell; 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of other extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: one son, Darrell Howell; one granddaughter, Allyson Norris; two brothers, Maxwell Howell and Atlas Howell; and two sisters, Daphne Ponder and Doris Trammel.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Flatwoods Cemetery, College Hill Road, Waco, with Pastor Jeremy Haskins officiating.
The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, is in charge of the arrangements.
