Brenda Smith Obituary
She was born in the Phelps Community of Pike County, Kentucky, on August 11, 1949, the daughter of the late Nathan & Judy Dotson Casey. At the young age of 19, Brenda graduated from beauty school and spent the next 15 years as a beautician in her small community. She retired to be a stay at home mom, and was a devoted member of the Gooslin Bottom Church of God. Mrs. Smith was an avid crafter, loved to read, and was a wonderful cook.
Survivors include: her children, Nathan Smith (Randy McKinley), and Tricia Stegman (Ken); her grandchildren, Kelcie Roger (Vince), Andy Stiltner, Joshua Stegman; her great-grandchildren, Chesney, Kennedy & Brynnley Rogers, Drew & Mose Stiltner; as well as other extended family and friends.
Private services will be conducted with entombment to follow in the Johnson Memorial Park, in Pikeville.
The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, is in charge of the arrangements.
