Edmore- Bud William Bissell, age 57, of Blanchard passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on August 8th, 2025. He was born on December 18, 1967, in Edmore, Michigan to Dale and Betty (Sias) Bissell. He graduated in 1986 from Montabella High School and went right into the work force. Bud was a loyal employee of PCA of Edmore, where he was a machine operator for 36 years.
Bud enjoyed spending time with family and friends, ice fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, watching horse races but his favorite was the tv series "Survivor". He especially loved his dog "Peaches".
Bud will be greatly missed by his wife of 21 years, Spring (Cobb) Bissell; daughter, Jennie Bissell; brothers and sister, Keith (Karen) Bissell, Dean (Jamie) Bissell, Scott Bissell, Vern (Sherry) Bissell, Ruth Bissell and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Bud will be remembered as a strong, kind, loving husband, and father.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Bissell.
There will be a Celebration of Life Benefit from 4-8pm on September 13, 2025, at the Blanchard American Legion Hall 8803 SW County Line Road, Blanchard, Michigan 49310.
