ALEXANDRIA, IN – Bud L. Divens, 69, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born on August 9, 1956, in Muncie to Samuel and Wilma (Vandevander) Divens and has lived in Alexandria most of his lifetime. Bud was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1976. He worked at State Plating, formerly of Elwood. Most recently, he had worked for US Leisure in Alexandria for more than 10 years. Bud liked to fish and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, the Miami Dolphins and the Indiana Pacers. Bud invested himself in his family and their friends to the point where many of his family's friends would affectionately call him Dad or Grandpa. He was very close to his grandchildren, especially "Maddy." He was well liked and often gave back to those who had a need. We will miss his friendly smile and his love
