Budd Voshell

Budd Voshell, 57, of Hartly, DE went home on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Bayhealth Kent General, Dover, DE after a brief illness.
Budd was born Grover Marian Voshell on July 6, 1967 in Dover, DE to Grace Foxx Voshell and Grover Cleavland Voshell, their fourth child and only son.
Budd attended elementary and Junior High School in the Caesar Rodney School District and High School in the Capitol School District. After school he worked for Acme Market in Dover, DE before moving to Maryville, TN and working for Kroger Market. Budd returned to Dover and began a career truck driving first for Schneider Trucking and then Reeb Millwork in Barclay, MD. Budd was faithful in his attendance and worship at the Chestertown Baptist Church, Chestertown, MD.
Budd was preceded in death by his parents – his mother in 1991 and is father in 2005 and sisters, Anna M Fansler of Hartly, DE in 2021 and Grace E Hall of Bridgeville, DE in 2015.
Budd is survived by his sister and brother-in-law – Karen J and Thomas A Kosky of Milton, DE, a niece and her husband – Brandy E and Jason Strauss and great nephew Beau Strauss of Felton, DE. Budd was also committed to and adored his many kitties, both pets and strays.
Services will be Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 East Lebanon Road, Dover, DE. Visitation for friends and family will be at 5:00 pm, with services at 6:00 pm, Pastor Rudy Draper, officiating.
