Buddy W. Hullander, age 85 of Chattanooga TN, passed away on January 6, 2026. He served as a Chattanooga city police officer for 25 years. He served in the U. S. Army for 3 years, where he was a member of the honor guard in Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Edith Hullander and by his sister Hazel Gray. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Laura Jean Hullander, and his children Teresa Michel (Paul), David Hullander, Douglas Hullander (Angela), Grandchildren Laura Oxendine (Tyler), Patrick Michel, and Shannon Michel (Matt). Great Grandchildren Levi and Jude Oxendine.
A church service will be held on January 24th, 2026 at Morris Hill Baptist church, 1804 Morris Hill road, Chattanooga TN 37421. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by a service at 12:00 pm. Graveside service to follow at Plowmans Cemetery Apison TN. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Hearth Hospice of Cleveland, TN either by phone (423)551-9941 or online at HEARTHHOSPICE.COM.
