KINGSVILLE – Buddy Ray Tilley, Jr., 64, of Dibble Road passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026.

He was born October 26, 1961, in Knoxville, TN, the son of Buddy Ray and Bonnie Jewel (Milam) Tilley, Sr. and had been an Ashtabula resident most of his life.

He attended Ashtabula High School and worked for numerous local companies including Delta Railroad and Zehrco Plastics. A talented mechanic, he was always there to help a friend or family when they needed a hand.

A longtime member of the Ashtabula Eagles, he was a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians. One of his famous lines that he would say to the females is, "Hey, Baby". He always enjoyed the simple things in life like a little salt with his favorite food and Clamato beverage, grilling out, and going fishing with his girls.

His survivors include his daughters, Desaray Tilley of Austinburg and Brittney (Walter "Jamie") Condo of Kingsville; son-in-law who he shared a special bond with, Walter "Jamie" Condo; four grandchildren, Lilah, Carter, Royal, and Hunter; two sisters, Ceretha "Debbie" (Andy) Katzmann and Lorrie (Dannie) Sawyers, Jr. of Kingsville; his brother-in-laws, Tony Vincenzo, Tim Hughart, and Danny Fitzgerald; the mother of his children, Diana McDermott; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Cathy Vincenzo, Lisa Hughart, and Carla Fitzgerald; niece, Amanda Fitzgerald; nephew, Robbie Vincenzo; great-nieces, Jaelynn M. Thomas and Kennedi McNeill; and his longtime companion, Edie Snyder.

Calling hours will be held from 2PM-3PM on Monday, February 23, 2026, with a service at 3PM following the calling hours at DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula. Pastor Doug Osburn of West Avenue Baptist Church will officiate.
