Burice Williams Willett, 80, of Shelby, NC, passed away on October 31, 2025 at home. Born May 30, 1945 in Fayetteville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Herman Williams and Ethel Lee Morgan Williams and was also preceded in death by her husband of 34 years John B. Willett, her son Chris Willett, siblings Laverne Williams, Leon Williams, Nancy Williams Graham, and Robert Williams, and her nephew David Williams. Burice graduated college with a degree in accounting, which she put to work at Sears & Roebuck. She then moved to her husband John's J&W Textiles as secretary and bookkeeper until her retirement. She was a member of Palm Tree Church in Lawndale, NC. Burice enjoyed traveling with friends and spending time with her beloved family. She always had pets and loved doting on her cats and dogs. Burice's memory will be a blessing and comfort for all who knew and loved her.
SURVIVORS: Daughter: Margaret Anderson (Gary) of Shelby, NC
Grandchildren: Michael Anderson and Glenn Johnson (Amy)
Nieces and Nephews: Christine Williams, Billy Joe Williams, and Cathy Williams
FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Palm Tree Church of Lawndale, NC with Pastor Jeff Clevenger officiating
VISITATION: Tuesday, November 4, 2025, prior to the service from 1:00 - 1:50 P.M. at Palm Tree Church of Lawndale, NC
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
