Buzzie Bavasi will alway's be remembered as a visionary in the baseball world, but for me he will always hold a deep and special place in my heart as the man that helped me adjust to baseball life as a 21 year old infielder with the San Diego Padres. The Bavasi Family has my deepest condolences.

We remember Mr. Bavasi from years past, he was always fair and kind to his players but firm, which is why the Dodgers were so great at that time; there will never be another like him.

Family members, How sad I was to hear of Buzzie's death. What a wonderful penpal he was to me these last 3 years. My father, Otto Boch, would have been so happy to know I had connected with Buzzie as they became good friends in Italy during World War II. My deepest sympathy, Dolores

To the Family:
God has promised us in His Word the Bible that we will see our dead loved ones again on a paradise earth where "death will be no more." He will accomplish this under His Kingdom. (Revelation 21:3,4)

Family members,
You have my sincere sympathy on the death of your loved one. Buzzie Bavasi made a great impact in baseball and for paving the way for future athletic heroes to have a career in baseball. Buzzie lived a long life, 93 years. We can look to the future when Jesus will resurrect all those in the "memorial tombs". Please read John 5:28, 29 in your Bible. His words bring us comfort and give us hope.

They honoured Buzzie at the Angel game tonight in Anaheim. Thanks for being a class act and raising a fine family that has continued your legacy in baseball. Peter in 1977 in Toronto and Bill now up in Seattle. May you be enjoying Heaven with all the legends you are now an Angel in the Outfield!
