Byron Batt, 53, of Fort Hall, Idaho, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, due to natural causes. Byron was born on May 6, 1972, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Lois L. Littlejohn and Brently Batt. He spent most of his life on the Fort Hall Reservation and attended school in Blackfoot, Idaho.

Byron enjoyed cooking, playing basketball, hunting, fishing, traveling with family, visiting the casino, and-most of all-making people laugh. He had a deep love for his children, grandchildren and family, who meant everything to him.

Byron is survived by first union Bridget Wadda of Fort Hall, his two children, Heather C. Batt-Atkins of Fort Hall; and Valentina T. Batt of Fort Hall; his brothers, Mathew Batt of Utah; Burdette T. Johnson of Fort Hall; and Jerel S. Littlejohn of Fort Hall; grandchildren Serenity R. Wadda, Ladainian J. Coby, Elmo D. Tavo Jr. LyDale Tavo, Taleah S. Coby, Elizabeth B. Coby, Lauren S. Coby; Maternal uncle Layton Littlejohn Jr, maternal uncle Gary Watson, many other beloved family members.

He is preceded in death by his father, Brently Batt; mother, Lois L Littlejohn; sister, Julieanna N. Batt; late maternal grandparents, Layton L. Littlejohn Sr. & Minnie Littlejohn; late paternal grandparents Robert Batt & Freda George Batt, and other beloved uncles and aunties.

Byron will be taken to Janet Denny Residence on Saturday February 7th, West Sheepskin, 91 Batt Lane at 10:00 a.m. Until Traditional burial on Monday February 9th at 12:00 Noon at Gibson Cemetery.
