Byron Fedie, a beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather and accomplished engineer, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024. Born on Christmas Eve 1950, Byron brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
A brilliant mind, Byron excelled as a Research and Development Engineer at Boston Scientific. His dedication to his work resulted in numerous patents, leaving a lasting impact on the medical technology field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Byron was a kind and generous soul. He possessed a unique ability to make people laugh and feel good about themselves. His meticulous nature and thoughtfulness were legendary, making him a reliable and dependable support under any circumstances.
Byron cherished his family deeply. He was a devoted husband to Li Li, celebrating their 25th anniversary this past summer with family and friends. As a stepfather to Annie, he was a source of unwavering support and guidance, having taught her many valuable life lessons.
In his free time, Byron found solace in his passions. He was an avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers and a master of intricate puzzles, always seeking challenge and finding satisfaction in completing them.
Byron will be deeply missed by his wife, Li Li; his daughter, Annie (Jon) and grandson, Ethan; as well as countless others whose lives he touched with his kindness and humor.
Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, December 28, 2024 (visitation 10-11 AM) at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Funeral Chapel; 5125 West Broadway, Crystal, MN. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
