C.L. “Connie” French, 93, of Dumas, TX passed away June 15, 2025.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 20, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox. Burial will be private in Northlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.
Connie was born September 2, 1931 in Reed, OK. He proudly served in the United States Army then worked for El Paso Natural Gas, retiring after 35 years of service. Connie married Janice Ruth Kunkel on July 18, 1958. He loved going to church at First Baptist. Connie was a great father and husband who was always there when anyone needed him.
He is preceded in death by his wife Janice Ruth Kunkel French; parents, Orna Alice and Connie Lee French; and his sister Lahoma Rodgers.
Connie is survived by two sons, Rodney French of Tyler and David French of Amarillo; one grandchild, Elizabeth French, one great-grandchild, Oliver French; brother, Othal Ray French; and many nieces and nephews.
