C.M. "Bud" Haley, age 88, of Dalton, Ga passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents; Will D. and Ethel Haley; sisters, Evelyn Parson, Vivian Mills; brother, Jack Haley; mother and father in-law, Annie and Dan Nations.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sue 'Nations' Haley; son, William Lane Haley; two grandsons, Jack and Will Haley of Dalton; sister, Charlotte (Jerry Goble) Sugar Valley, Shirley (Troy) Edgeman of Sugar Valley, Katherine Dempsey of Calhoun; brother and sister in-law, Bud and Jean Nations; sister in-law, Edna Glancy and Charlene Seritt of Sugar Valley and Chris Goode of Dalton; many nieces and nephews.
He was a long-time member of Dug Gap Baptist Church and served in the United States Army.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. C.M. "Bud" Haley will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Mills and Pastor Wayne Cofield officiating. Interment will be at Hill City Baptist Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S. Glenwood Ave. Dalton, GA 30721; 706-529-5371.
