Clementina Gloria Pelligrini was born on October 24, 1928 and grew up in a small Italian village in Everett, Ma., just outside Boston.

When Gloria was younger, she met a young sailor named Bernard "BJ" Miller who caught her eye, and the rest is history. They were married on May 21st, 1950 and spent 48 glorious years together. Gloria and BJ moved to Anderson in 1951 and worked at Delco-Remy before retiring in 1985. Gloria loved attending Navy Reunions and still kept in contact with BJ's Navy buddies after his passing.

Gloria enjoyed playing cards with her friends, watching Turner Classic Movies, and the Gameshow Network. She was the happiest when she was on her couch, in her sweatpants. Gloria never wanted to be in the spotlight, she always made sure everyone else was taken care of. Most importantly, Gloria loved her family and spending time with them.

Gloria will be dearly missed by her children, Patti (Gary) Sprouls, John Miller, and Marilyn (Philip) Roberts; her grandchildren, Alissa Boardman, Angela (Kris) Kail, and Kelsey Sotello; and her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Boardman and Kameron and Annabelle Kail.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Massimo and Alice (Naveroli) Pellegrini and her husband of 48 years, Bernard "BJ" Miller.

Gloria was at Rawlins House in Pendleton for the last 8 months, she made many friends and loved everyone there.

The visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The service will begin at 12 at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. To post online condolences, please visit www.brownbutzdiedring.com.
