Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D. a devoted husband and physician, left his earthly body on July 8th, 2024. Norm was born on December 4th, 1932 in Columbia, South Carolina. Honorably discharged from the Naval Reserves in 1963, he served his Country for 7 years. He was often described as a man with honor and integrity, Norm excelled in his role as a Holistic Healer. Norm Graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Medicine and Doctor of Medicine. His Curriculum Vitae accelerated with his success. Becoming founding President of the American Holistic Medicine Association, President of Holos University and on the Board of Directors of Holos Institutes of Health, among many more. People often considered him to be the founder of Holistic Medicine. He was the Author of many books including Energy Medicine, 90 Days to Self Health and Living Bliss. He used his knowledge, coupled with compassion, to love, heal, and impact his patients and family in the most positive way, vowing to heal the body as a whole. Inventor of the Tens Machine and the Shealy RelaxMate, he held many Patents for some of the most incredible healing devices still widely used today. Some of you may remember him saying, "Every thought is a prayer, thinking sets in motion spiritual forces to bring about change!" "In body, mind, compassion, hope and despair, think positive".
Norm was preceded in death by his spouse, of nearly 52 years. He is survived by His children and grandchildren. Norm's long wish was to be cremated. Local arrangements have been arranged by Dr. Sergey Sorin.
A Celebration of Life for Norm will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home East Springfield, Missouri.

This month we lost a giant in the medical field who I knew personally. To celebrate his prolific career, our institute has uploaded his professionally edited, amazing 80-minute COFE8 conference presentation which our nonprofit Integrity Research Institute sponsored on the "Biochemistry of Longevity" from 2016 on our IRI YouTube Channel so you can view it for free: https://youtu.be/7h80608AcWo . Norm presents the most complete medical health information we will ever need!

Dr.Shealy was one of my biggest teachers for many years. As a nurse I absorbed as much as I possibly could from his books and videos and life broadcasts. Any word was priceless, he really tried to heal anybody and everybody in his own way. He taught me so many things and ways, I will always follow his steps for as long as I live.
Thank you, Dr.Shealy! (Why do people like him have to die. )
Love always

Norm took my call as a favor of Caroline Myss to see if he could suggest any alternative to my S-Curve pain. He was kind and generous, and I will never forget that act of kindness. I also learned he was the first to perform a bilateral radio-frequency ablation on the lumbar spine; I've had three of them.

May those who know and love him cherish the memories of their time with him and hold them close to your heart.

With love and sympathy,
Debbie Gill
