Caecilia Sioe Lan Obituary
She was born in Bangka Island in Indonesia in 1937 to the late Antonius Anwar and Maemunah Modesta Tohir. Caecilia began her carrier at PT. Roda Mas in Jakarta, Indonesia before moving to San Francisco, CA in 1988 where she worked at the Marshall Stores until she retired.
Caecilia was a loving and caring sister, great aunt, and aunt to her family, relatives, and friends. She was always looking out for others. She could really light up the room. She lived life to the fullest, loved to travel and met people from all over the world.
Caecilia was preceded in death by her siblings Regina Tohir, Monica Tohir, Elizabeth Tohir, and Alexander Thong. She is survived by her sister:Martha Christina Tohir- Heider & brother-in-law, Ludwig Heider; Nephew and Nieces: Daniel Heider, Mirjam (Heider) Schweinert, spouse, Martin & children: Charlotte, Michael & Tamara, Catharina " Rina" Sofjan Wolf, spouse, Robert Wolf, children: Kimberly, and Kevin Williams, and Anastasia Suzanna (Effendy), spouse, Redriques and son, Nikolaus. She is also survived by many loving cousins and extended family members and friends: Marcel & Maria Bone, Yovita Bone & Harsono, Titien & Doug Stierman, Rizal & Fransiska Setiadi, Grace & Tom Parker.
A celebration of life mass will follow at the determined Roman Catholic Church in San Francisco.
