Cainer Lee Hall, age 74, of Prestonsburg, KY husband of Gwendolyn Elizabeth Miller Hall, died Sunday, December 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1951 in Martin, KY a son of the late Wiley Martin and Sarah Katherine Osborne Hall. Cainer was a retired Maintenance worker, a member of St. Martha Catholic Church, Prestonsburg, KY and a former coach for the following sports teams: Martin Pee Wee League, Prestonsburg Little League, Piarist High School, Martin Jr. Pro, Upward Basketball League, St. Martha Basketball Team, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by three sons, Martin Edward (Amanda Lynn) Hall, Prestonsburg, George Lee (Kathryn Vogelsang) Hall, Chesterfield, MO, Robert Lee Hall, Irvine, KY, one daughter; Ann Elizabeth Powell, Georgetown, KY, three brothers; Tommy Hall, Martin, KY, David Hall, Prestonsburg, KY, Bill Hall, Martin, KY, six grandchildren; Luke Hall, Madelyn Powell, Allie Hope Hall, Jackson Powell, Rosalee Hall, and Julianna Hall.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Ray Hall, Martin Edward Hall, Larry Hall, Gary Hall, and three sisters; Anita Marie Hall, Georgia Faye Conn and Patsy Rose.

Funeral service for Cainer Lee Hall will be conducted Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 11 AM in the St. Martha Catholic Church, Prestonsburg, KY, with Father(s), Eric Anya, David Powers and Bob Damron presiding. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY. Visitation is from 5 PM until 9 PM Tuesday and from 1 PM until 9 PM Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, and 1 hour prior to funeral service at the church on Thursday.
