Caleb Barnes Obituary

Caleb graduated from Tates Creek High School in 2007 and was a star football player. He also attended Kentucky State University. Caleb loved the Baltimore Ravens, anime, video games and Tech n9ne. He also enjoyed spending time with his cousins Jonaci Reeves, Miranda Monteer, Justin and Mirio Reeves and Sariah Hawley.
Caleb was preceded in death by his "Nan," Kathleen Nobles; his "Auntie J," Johnna (Nobles) Brown; and his biological father, John Barnes.
Caleb is survived by his mother, April Meneese; father, Wendell Meneese; brothers, Brandon and Arryn Meneese; as well as a host of cousins, aunts and uncles from the Meneese and Barnes Families.
Caleb was what you would call a "Gentle Giant." He was one of the most selfless young men in the entire world. He wore his heart on his sleeve. Caleb will be greatly missed by many.

I will always remember how he was such a gentle soul. Beautiful smile from a baby to adulthood. He looked and sounded like my brother Johnnie Ray Barnes. My heart is heavy with sorrow for the families and myself. But rest assured God knows best and takes care of all. He will heal our hearts and we will have no more tears. May God keep the family in comfort at this time. I will keep the families in prayer. Love auntie Jenette B. Mucker

My first memory of Caleb? oh boy, he was so small and skinny! about 4 years old and had the best smile! Ginger and Caleb had the best of times first in elementary school and then all those years later in at Tates Creek High School. Love ya Caleb, Miss Lori
