Caleb Martin Reed, age 35, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer.
Caleb was born on April 24, 1990, in Cleveland, Mississippi, to Teresa and Bob Reed. He was a 2008 graduate of Bayou Academy where he excelled in all sports, but he proudly continued his baseball career at Mississippi State University, where he was a pitcher and graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 2012. Caleb was humble about his accomplishments in his life, but he was great at everything he did. When he had his mind set on something, he was going to go to great lengths to be the best at it- and he did just that. Caleb was an All-SEC reliever pitcher for the Mississippi State Bulldogs from 2009-2012 and won the SEC Tournament Championship in 2012. Caleb loved sports and loved to coach, especially his son Nolan's sports teams.
Caleb was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling– a lifestyle he learned from his father and grandfathers at Merigold Hunting Club and Elliot Lake. Caleb loved his line of work. As a financial advisor, he helped his clients with their financial future, and he took pride everyday in what he did. Caleb loved God and his family more than anything. He grew up going to First Presbyterian in Cleveland, Mississippi, which helped shape him into a great man of faith. He made impacts in each community he was a part of. He, his wife and boys were active members of 3Circle Church in Daphne/Fairhope. He treasured his time with his wife, Robin, and his three boys more than anything. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend and he will be greatly missed by everyone.
Caleb is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Jane Shook and Jane Reed; grandfather, William Robert Reed; and father-in-law, Jim Johns. Caleb is survived by his loving wife, Robin, his three boys, Nolan, Keller and Bridges; his parents, Teresa and Bob; brother, Will (Callie); grandfather, Dossie Shook (Merita); and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, his mother-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 3Circle Church Fairhope Campus, 10274 AL-104, Fairhope, AL 36532 from 10AM-12PM, with a celebration of life service following at 12PM. A graveside memorial service will immediately follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Daphne, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org in Caleb's memory.
Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.hughesfh.com. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home & crematory, 26209 Pollard Rd, Daphne, AL.

Caleb was always the funny sneaky one of the two brothers. I will remember all the times babysitting he and Will and Caleb no matter what would always find a way to make me laugh and Will would get mad at him. Such a wonderful young man that had such a big heart and a big smile. I´m so lucky that I got to be apart of his life, watching him grow up and flourish into a wonderful athlete, Father and precious young man. Praying for his family his babies and wife and his precious Mom and Dad and Will who I know will all step in and keep his memory alive through his babies. God bless you much love from our family.
