Callie McKenzie Liggin of Monroe, GA, went home to be with the Lord, August 22, 2025, after a hard fought, courageous five-year battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Smith officiating. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 12 Noon. Callie was born February 3, 1986, in Tallahassee, FL. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 2004 and from Florida State University with a double major in Accounting and Finance in 2009. As a CPA, Callie began her accounting career at Georgia Farm Bureau, eventually going to work for Jones Petroleum Company where she worked for twelve years, being promoted to an Accounting Manager. She was a faithful and active member at Prince Avenue Baptist Church in Bogart, GA. Callie enjoyed reading, water skiing, gathering with family, and cheering on her children at their sporting events. Callie was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter and a faithful friend. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Myles Taylor Liggin; her children, Harris and Kendall Liggin; parents, Kenny and Dottie McKenzie; brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Jessica Kelley; her in-laws, Bud and Debra Liggin; sister-in-law, Callie Rudy; grandmother-in-laws, Joyce Liggin and Callie Ann Harris along with many nieces and nephews and other beloved family members and friends. More than anything, Callie lived her life as a Godly Christian woman. Her faith guided every step, and her heart for service touched all who knew her. Whether she was caring for her family, encouraging a friend, or serving through the church, Callie's joy shined brightly. She gave generously of her time and talents, leaving a lasting mark on her church family and community. Callie's legacy is one of faith, love, and selfless devotion. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, her unwavering kindness and the way she lived her life for Jesus in everything. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Harris and Kendall's 529 College Fund.
