Gary Leigh Liggin was born on January 6, 1952, in Pauls Valley, OK and passed away at his home in Edmond, OK on June 28, 2022. Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Liggin, Father, Walter Lee Liggin, and Mother, Estalee Liggin. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Edison, his daughter, Kinzey McLennan and husband, Russell of Tyler, Texas and his daughter, Shelby Roberts and husband, Daniel, of Edmond, Oklahoma. Gary had 4 granddaughters, Ellabelle McLennan (10), Rosslyn McLennan (6), Sydney Roberts (6), and Claire Roberts (9 months).
Gary started his career with Xerox in his 20s and retired with the same company. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, kicking back on cruises, and going to garage sales frequently. With a lifelong love of restoring and admiring vintage cars, he could name any car make and model from a mile away. When not renovating houses, working in his garage, or working with his hands in general; Gary was known for passing on his handyman and mechanical skills to anyone who wanted to learn; always with the patience and humility of a gentle father. Gary was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family and knew the perfect time to slip in a 'Dad joke' and remind everyone that nothing was a problem.
As a true hard working renaissance man, Gary's most effortless role was being grandpa to his 4 grandkids who adored him more with each passing day. His humble faith allowed him to be a rock to all who knew him in his many roles: husband, dad, grandpa, friend, co-worker, neighbor and more.
