Calvin "Lowell" Eash, 53, passed away July 2, 2023. He was born February 5, 1970 in Milford, Delaware to the late Jesse and Fern Eash.
Lowell and his family moved to Sarasota when he was five and he attended Sarasota Christian School his entire schooling, graduating in 1988. Sports, music and making people laugh were the main passions in Lowell's life.
Starting young, he played T-ball at age five and grew up in Little League and into the Babe Ruth League. He played all positions but his greatest strengths were at pitching and first base. In high school he also played soccer and basketball but baseball was always his first love.
Music was always important for Lowell. Growing up in church and a Christian school, he was always singing. He started guitar when was ten and sang in many musicals and choirs. He took classical guitar lessons through middle and high school. He played the trumpet in the high school band and in his senior year he had a solo in the Hallelujah Chorus which was always one of his greatest honors and memories.
He started at Eastern Mennonite College and later transferred to Full Sail University majoring in audio engineering. He recorded an album in Nashville for CCM artist Elias.
Lowell always had a great sense of humor and was very loyal, generous, and had a soft heart towards the things of the Lord. He loved to cook gourmet food for his wife and was proficient at playing the Shofar, trumpet and both acoustic and electric guitars. Mechanically he could fix anything from dishwashers to ACs and car engines.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 23 years Leah; and sister Andrea Lynne Eash who reside in Sarasota, Florida.
There will be a Celebration of Lowell's Life on Friday, July 7th at 7:00 pm (777) at Sarasota Community Church, 4041 Bahia Vista Street, Sarasota, Florida 34232.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lowell's honor to Sarasota Christian School scholarship fund. Memories and condolences may be left for the family online at www.MFHcares.com.
